Thorne-Moorends Town Council is working with the Business and IT department at Trinity Academy Thorne to raise awareness of the Thorne Farmers Market, one strand of which is a poster competition which has been judged by the Mayor of Thorne - Margaret Holt-Taylor and the Chair of the Thorne Farmers Market Steering Group Janet Martland.

On Wednesday 25th April at 9.30am there was a presentation of prizes to the competition winners, £50 in HMV tokens to the winner and £25 to each of the two runner-ups. Trinity Academy and Thorne Farmers Market Steering Group have donated the prizes.
