Town Clerk
The Town Clerk is the chief executive officer of the Town Council, responsible for ensuring the effective operation of the council and its compliance with legal and statutory requirements. The Town Clerk provides professional advice to councillors, oversees council meetings, and ensures that decisions are properly implemented. They are also responsible for managing the council’s finances, records, and communications, as well as acting as the primary point of contact between the council and the community

Responsible Financial Officer (RFO)
The Responsible Financial Officer (RFO) is responsible for overseeing the financial management of the Town Council, ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and statutory obligations. The RFO manages the council’s budget, accounts, and financial records, providing accurate and timely financial reports to councillors. They also handle payments, receipts, and oversee internal and external audits. The RFO works closely with the Town Clerk and council members to ensure sound financial planning and decision-making, helping to ensure that public funds are used efficiently and responsibly in the best interest of the community.

Office Manager
The Office Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Town Council’s administrative functions. Responsible for overseeing day-to-day office management and grounds operations, the Office Manager supports councillors and staff with administrative tasks, communication, and coordination. The Office Manager also assists in organizing meetings, preparing agendas and reports, and providing general support to the council to ensure the efficient delivery of services to the local community.

Admin Assistant
The Admin Assistant provides vital support to Council Officers by assisting with day-to-day administrative tasks and ensuring the smooth running of office operations. Responsibilities include handling correspondence, managing records, preparing documents, and assisting with meeting preparation. The Admin Assistant also helps with maintaining the council’s database, managing office supplies, and providing general administrative support to councillors and staff.
